Place two check marks in each row and column, ensuring that they maintain a safe distance from one another. Each check mark occupies its own designated territory, meaning that no two check marks can be adjacent in any direction—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Therefore, a square surrounding a check mark should not contain another one. To manipulate the placement, you can click to position check marks, use supporting crosses, or remove existing check marks. A helpful tip for solving the puzzle is that any two consecutive rows or columns must collectively contain four check marks, which can significantly simplify the challenge.
